movement + world building
This update to the game is a overhaul to how the player interacts with walls and over haul the level design. The first part of this update was to implement a new map to the game so I looked around at other games in the side scroller genre and found a few that contained interesting or unique designs so I worked on implementing them into map which I did rather well. When the map was done I realized(due to feedback) that it was not very player friendly in the sense that the player could not even get to places in the map due to wall being too high or other reasons. so to combat this I implemented a new interaction between the walls and player which allowed the player to scale tall walls or jump between walls. Most if not all the feed back from the new update were talking about how the player could not access parts of the map due to the need for better mobility. A glitch was spotted that made the player stick to walls when they should not but was promptly fixed by changing the friction of the player to zero.
